Elyse works to create a safe and supportive space where you can take steps towards your own version of emotional wellness. Treating anxiety & depression
Fertility challenges or those who are undergoing fertility treatments such as IUI, IVF
Women experiencing postpartum anxiety, stress or depression.
Therapy starts with a 60 minute intake appointment. The intake is focused on getting detailed information on your presenting concerns and reasons for seeking treatment. If your needs align with my clinical expertise and you feel like we are a good fit, then we will align on goals and a treatment plan for care. Sessions are generally weekly or bi weekly and last 45-60 minutes.
I utilize evidenced based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. These treatment approaches are goal oriented and generally can improve symptoms over the course of a few months before spacing out the frequency of treatment. My clients often start to feel better, reduce or pause care, and can always return to care if it's needed in the future.
